Azure aster (Sky-blue aster) - Aster azureus.
Plant height 45-65 cm. Reed flowers are dark blue-violet and tubular flowers are yellow. Inflorescence diameter up to 5 cm.
Blooms from August 1-10 for 50-60 days. Seeds ripen at the end of September.
Propagated by dividing the bush and cuttings. Winters without shelter. It is used in group plantings in open and semi-shaded places, for cutting.
